Hi,
finally the Padfone Infinity arrived at Amazon in Italy.
It is sold by Amazon itself and not on the market place.
I (and maybe some more) waited for that as amazon ships to other european countries and has a amazing returnpolicy (two of my two former asus products had to be returned).

It is the 64GB version, with the tablet.

So expensive, work out £845 in UK!
I am going to buy in Hong Kong soon, should be under £600

845£ is about 996€

If you have to pay custom/taxes in europe it gets more expensive. And in case of return it is harder if you have to deal with Honkong than dealing with amazon.

I just got a mail from Amazon.it that it is available now and they are ready to ship. As I said, it is the 64GB version with the station.

Can anyone else confirm that Amazon.it has it listed as ready to ship?
When I go to Amazon.it and let it translate, I´m pretty sure that it says "Pre-Order for Christmas". Furthermore, the option to comment on the article is deactivated, saying "the article is not yet launched".
Cabotine, are you from Italy? Maybe its only available for locals...

Hey,
it was ready to ship on Tuesday. It just didnt work with my creditcard so, I was to late. They only got some units and now its back to shipping it soon.

Hopefully not for long.

I just got a mail that is on the wy with DHL. Should be there on wednesday

So, it seem to work outside of Italy.

Well my only reason for not trusting them - Never heard of anyone using them & they seem to have the padfone infinity when its not released in the UK yet. So they must be importing them.

Yes, Padfone Infinity's from MobiCity are imported from Taiwan...

Well, it is sold by amazon in italy (not over the marketplace) so it is the amazon warranty and this work pretty well with my last two broken Asus products (money back).

And it is not a grey-imported taiwanese version but the worldwide one. So if you want to you could also send it to Asus in Italy in case its broken. But I prefer money back and buying a new one.

That's what happened to my padfone2. Dropped it, and so my accidental damage warranty with SquareTrade gave me my money back. Now I'm looking for the infinity. There is a UK company on Ebay, I have contacted them with some questions. Looks like they have the champagne gold colour. And Square Trade will give warranty because its a UK company.
