Heh, interesting news, thank you for sharing. Actually I'd like to have my NPFI with 4.3" AMOLED screen (as my previous PF1) and existing fast CPU, memory etc., but the tablet is better for me with 10" s-IPS 1920*1200 screen. So I prefer maximal mobility for the phone mode and maximal comfort for viewing in the tablet one.
Why do only Apple manage to make a high end device smaller than 4,7"?
Asus should not let their name be associated with low-range devices, and I agree with Peter and Zoomol. 7" is too small for me. At least release two different dockings so we can choose.
SparkyRih, I don't think that this movement is something good... IMO Asus should give us, current users more attention, than release ever 2-3 months new device... It's nothing good, because it is possible, that Asus will forget about us, and eventually focus on Padfone mini users... KitKat for NPFI in 2nd Q of 2014? ehh.... ;-/
I am now a very, very confused man, looking at the spec sheet of this mini.
Sure I understand that Mini is not supposed to have the same punching power as the flagship, such as NPFI, but really? that CPU? that RAM? that battery? that battery for the pad dock? not even 720P for the phone? is this what we can do at best for that size?
well I understand that the mini size is the blank area that ASUS needs to fill. But this phone really is a budget in wrap... I really don't know who i can recommend this one to. Honestly.
