Seeing other devices getting news about JB and release date makes me jealous. lol What about our padfone, I want it asap!!

I just hope that it will help with all the delay that I have faced on my phone. ^_^

Well, I remeber the 4.0 update (from the almost flawlessly working 3.2) on my previous TF101, so I'm not sure if I want to install the fresh 4.1 or wait till couple of its updates ...

Asus Malaysia just wrote in facebook.

Dear Valued ASUS Customers,

We are pleased to announce that we will soon be rolling out a major software update for the ASUS PadFone, which will update it to Android™ 4.1, Jelly Bean.

The tentative FOTA update is scheduled to begin in late December in Taiwan, then subsequently worldwide.

We will announce Jelly Bean update plans for other Transformer Pad Series devices in the near future, so stay tuned.

Thank you for your continued support.

Well late dec is not exactly that bad considering we will be the 1st to get the update anyway with CHT.

p/s: I thought you said you are gonna hang in PF1 for a bit? lol

Well, it's clear they don't want Jelly Bean on the first Padfone before they launch the second.
