Hi guys,

I am getting really close on getting the NPFI but i have a few questions to ask.

What are the known build issues with this thing?

How is the call quality?

How is the wifi connection quality?

I tried looking at the reviews on this but I don't get much. Hope somebody can help me thanks!

The NPFI is pretty much the same thing as the normal Padfone Infinity, so you can read me review (find it on the right side of this site)...

The built quality is great, it's just one solid peace, that's the best way to describe it

I gave it to someone who just bought an LG G2, and he was like "wow, this thing is solid", so I think that says enough

Call quality is very well, it's very important to me as well since I call a lot... It's even better than the normal Padfone Infinity since it has two microphones (one for HW noise cancelation)...

Wifi connectivity as well as 3$ (I don't have 4G with my subscription), BT, GPS and NFC are also very well in my experience...

+1 for what SparkyRihwrote, and in my opinion, also ANT+ support for various tracking devices is a huge +. GPS is fixed very quickly (i use sports trackers like SportsTrackerPRO, Runtastic, Endomondo and NPFI catches fix in like 2-3 sec.). Also Bluetooth experience is very good in my case - for running I use Zephyr's HxM Bluetooth heart rate monitor + Sennheiser's MM100 Bluetooth headphones, and didn't experience interferrences and disconnections at all.
With root and several personalizations, works great, battery in my case lasts like 4days with medium use

(see screen).
For me it was the best purchase in Oct. 2013

worth every penny

And currently my Home (via Themer)

Wow! 4 days, that's a lot, what kind of magical personalizations did you do zoomol?

and what do you mean by medium use?

By magical personalization, I mean:
- Tasker - ultimate tool to manage your phone
- Xposed framework - framework for locked ROMs with perm-ROOT access

By medium use:
- 5-8 calls a day (duration: ~2-5min)
- 5-10 SMS a day
- Sync on every 1h (you can see it on battery stats. Tasker rules)
- 2G on (bu every 1h when sync starts, 2G/3G/4G switches via Tasker)
- no running during that period (no GPS and bluetooth)

one quick question, does the new padfone face the problem with the digitiser like the previous padfone infinity?

I tried it at a local telecom shop and I am very impress with it. Jsut one quick question. Are there any phone casing that you do not need to take out when you slot the phone into the padstation?

There is no way that there will be a case that will work on the phone while docked...

I'd suggest buying a "pull-out" case, I don't know what they're called, but this is what I mean: http://padfoneclub.com/pl/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?13920.0#post_13925

The pink thing is an official bumper case that came with my NPFI (in random color :S), but I'm using the case in the second picture collection...

mickey - just look at the picture... Do you see WiFi bars??? And also my note, that every 1h Tasker is switching sync mode (if I'm on WiFi, it connects but if not, it switches 3g and mobile data)... Also I've browsed couple times, but it was like 5-10mins... No video, no music... On taht period, I wanted to see, how long battery can last with MY medium use (hard use is, when i run every day for 4 days, so GPS tracking and bluetooth headset for music is with me for about 1h per running day. Plus: e-mails from gmail and work exchange mailboxes, heavier web browsing)...
