Yes, it means worldwide.

Download the file and put it on the root of your PF2, it should show a notification to update. That's how it worked with previous updates on my PFI though.

No. By the root I mean the parent folder in your internal memory.

At last, the circle is complete.

Has anyone installed it yet? I am downloading the file, but i thought i would wait to see if people generally crash and burn or if the update seems bug free before i push it

Did you update manually? My PF2 brings out network error when checking for updates...

Ok. The manual says that "this firmware update SOP only applicable for Hong Kong, China, Starhub, Russia and Japan firmware versions."

Mine is WWE so I'm sweating...

Can anyone confirm that there should be plenty of files unzipped to the root folder, or if there should be a single folder conitaining those files?

Edit: Nevermind, figured it out. Updating now.

Sink or swim..

They still fucked up with PadFone Infinity users by delaying their update to end of July.

Hello all,

I would to avoid resetting my padphone, but the check for Framework system updates does give me a "No network connection. Internet connection is required (...)" warning while my connection works great (I tried using WI-Fi or Mobile data on 4G).
Any idea ?

Moreover, it seems the update is not really "official" for now, because it is not on the download website of the Asus support (http://support.asus.com/download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=PadFone%202&os=32).

It is not true any more, updates are official (they can downloaded from the Asus support website)!
