If you have a custom recovery, nothing, you can flash the update with CWM (or TWRP). Just don't forget to wipe data/cache/dalvik after flashing the zip.
If you have stock recovery, it should be better to unroot and be on 100% stock rom (no system apps added or removed).
Hey guys! Do you have any feedback on the last update of PFI? I had to change my SKU from RU to TW to get the update Hpefully if asus releases another kk update for ww or ru i'll flush it again but so far I have noticed the following: 1. In settings-general there are two options - asus launcher and settings which have option to be selected and there is a trash bin sign next to each, but when i click on each of ghem nothing happens. Do you also have the same? 2. I try to update some apps in play store, but apps like zen ui say they are not supported by my device, although they are already installed. So far only these two issues. But the general look of thd kk update i like more, before the update the launcher was not so smooth.
-Screen brightness behaves strangely. I set it to minimum and deactivate auto brightness. But when I switch the screen on, brightness sets itself to maximum, and I have to switch it off and on a couple of times for it to work.
-When pausing music from quick controls on lockscreen and playing again, the current song will play ok. Next one will play through the speaker instead of through the earphones.
I've already told Asus about those bugs and they told me this morning that they'll correct that through a software update.
The Asus Launcher seems to be heavily implemented compared to 4.1.2.
In 4.1.2 I used Nova Launcher an Apex for Pad, this is still possible, but a restart blocks several items from autostart (seems System UI is waiting for Asus Launcher, which is not default in this case).
Also Gravitybox just has some features working, no more Statusbar Mods and Navigationbar Mods possible.
I didn't install GravityBox, it made developper options (in the Settings app) force close, on my device.
The only Xposed tweak I installed is App Settings, to be able to allow Gallery to rotate when I disable auto-rotate. But if I could I'd have used GravityBox to center the clock in the notification bar.

If I used Framaroot as recommended in this site to root my PFI, which method should I be using?
Sorry for being clueless >.<
I used CWM on another phone before but my PFI haven't used any of those.
