Which version number does it have?

On Asus' website, they are still on 11.8.10.38, and my PFI says it's already up to date.

I visited the Asus support site and didn't find there a firmware update for my Padfone whose build number is JZO54K.TW_PadFone-10.6.9.31-0

Can you tell me which of the firmware updates to use?

Oh, new update is online at Asus. It's 11.8.10.54. I'll test it right now.

Changelog says it fixes brightness problems, too.

@etmr18: download this file: http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/Mobile_Phone/PadFone_Infinity/WW_PFI_user_11_8_10_54_UpdateLauncher.zip

Then unzip it. There will be another .zip inside, which you need to transfer to the root of your PFI's internal memory, without unzipping it.

Then unplug your PFI from the computer, and it'll detect that an update is on the memory and will ask you if you want to install it.

Also, be aware that you'll lose EVERYTHING that is on your phone, so please backup anything you want to keep before you proceed.

Here: http://www.asus.com/Phones/PadFone_Infinity_A80/HelpDesk_download/

Select "Android" as OS and you'll see downloads for all versions and their changelogs.

First of all, many thanks for your kind help.

I did exactly what you wrote, but could't move the Zip file to the Root directory of the Padfone.
Android system just didn't allow it.
How can I do it?

Hi,

I'm on HK SKU. Will there be a problem if I switch to WW SKU? And what's the difference anyway?

You need to connect your phone as an MTP device.
