Here is my problem : with no reason, when booting my Padfone 2, it suddenly started turning on and turning off continuously. By long pressing the start button, it gets stucked in the logo screen, without getting farther.
I have seen reports about that problem, with suggested solutions such as flashing the padfone, or peforming a factory reset, but the thing is I don't wanna loose my data (especially my photos!), since I disabled Asus cloud storage a long time ago.
Now, I can reach the recovery mode, but the basic one : I mean, since I never unlocked the bootloader, I don't have functions such as "Backup and restore".
So the options I have in the recovery mode are : - Reboot system now => Doesn't solve the problem - Wipe cache partition => Same - Wipe data/Factory reset => I don't want to loose my data!!
I can see my data is still there with "Apply update from external storage", which allows me to browse my files, but how to recover it?
I mean, is there a way to unlock the bootloader from recovery mode (which would allow me to backup the files from there), or to unmount the padfone and get the internal memory card, or whatever other solution to recover my files?
Well that doesn't work. When connecting the padfone while on the logo, windows will say "unable to boot the device (code 10)" or something like that. On debug mode, usb padfone driver is correctly installed but I won't be able to get the files.
Tried to install Android ADB Interface pilot + MoboRobo but MoboRobo says "Failed to connect", I guess that is because usb debug mode is not turned on but I'm not able to turn it on since I can't boot the phone!
