Ditto. When I insert phone in station signal is often lost and if not - connection is horrible.

Any idea what might be wrong?

The three pins that connect the phone to the station's antennas don't make good contact. I solved it inserting a very small sheet of paper in between the pins and the station in order to make them stand out more. It continues working perfectly after a year.

However, if you do this, sometimes the door of the Padfone Station won't open without applying a very small force (that does not seem to damage it), and sometimes the Padstation won't detect the phone if not inserted more carefully than normal. It may be different in your case depending on the thickness of the sheet of paper.

I know this isn't an elegant workaround, but is what we have. Blame the designers of the Padfone Station. I don't know if it's a fault of every unit. It's not only you for sure. More people have complained around the internet (in addition to my own unit).

If you decide to do it, BE VERY CAREFUL, as you may break the pins or deform them forever. I recommend using a clip to hold the pins while you insert the paper. Wait for more responses before doing it (in case you want to), maybe someone comes with a better solution.
