Application Notices: Please note that Android 5.0 Lollipop does not support some pre-installed apps. The listed apps below will be removed once the Android 5.0 Lollipop upgrade is complete. The update and installation will take some time. 1. Battery widget 2. ASUS Miracast dongle Tool 3. Magic Smoke Wallpapers 4. Movie Studio 5. My Dictionary 6. Story
Okay, they deliberatly removed it, because it's not compatible. But since there is not the settings either, it doesn't really look good about lolipop support.
How is it on others lolipop padfones like the S ?
So I tried, and this is not the BatteryWidget.apk This widget just show the battery level for statino and phone, and it seems to work ok.
The widget we are looking for is the one where we can set "phone prefered" and also how we answer calls when phone is docked. I don't know the name of this widget.
Maybe Padfone Utility ...
Ok I got it, it's called Utility.apk
One thing I miss also is that I can't use My 4G manager anymore on lolipop, unless I am root. It allowed to shut down data when phone is not used.

I installed Utility.apk I set it to phone prefered, but it doesn't seem to charge the phone.
Here is the utility - http://www.mediafire.com/download/ffx7lbaxf7ofjyg/Utility.apk, everithing works except the battery options. I've looked into the other apps that might be used for the battery options and i think that only the Transformer app and BasicDreams app might be used for the battery settings, here are the new and old ones(the new ones are copied from my phone, the old ones from UL-A86-TW-11.2.5.26-user) - http://www.mediafire.com/download/2d96mb4h4xl28ob/Apps.rar I would apreciate it if somone try to replace the apps from the folder "Old\Ready for paste in the system app folder"(in that folder the i've just made the files match names and location as the new ones, in Old are the same files just not in folders) with these in his /system/apps folder. I think that without root the apps can only be replaced with ADB.
So, i had 11.2.5.30 WW. Downloaded and put on my MicroSD card. Installed in less than 10 mins. Downloaded the google play services from link in this thread. Works great!

Yeah and you say it would work but it doesn't.
You didn't read my post accurately: "install this apk on your phone and when in tablet mode the station utility widget appears. drag the widget to home. Apparently it works, but I'm not sure if truly this affects default power management in L firmware."
Be a little appreciative toward people who are trying to help you!
i already downloaded the 12.4.0.59 Lollipop update.. overall, the system runs smoothly as it get.. it took 1gb of ram, but still runs very smooth, opening the apps.. now, my phone have many customizing experience before kitkat.. all i can say is Thank You Asus for the software update.. you all must upgrade it to the 12.4.0.59 L update.. i have no regrets..
Installed the TW version... But I'm very annoyed that the Utility and Battery widgets are gone... I tried installing the utility, but it is not showing up anywhere...
Are we getting the CHT version soon? If I wanna install the WW or TW version, I'll probably lose my home screens, apps and everything - it will be wipe / install of the Os - is this right ?

CHT is a SKU used by a Taiwanese telecom provider, usually they were the first to get it... Maybe they discontinued the firmware for NPFI? I don't know...
I come from CHT, and I installed TW... At first I thought that it got stock at the boot screen, but eventually it got through... First hour of usage was very very bad, apps crashing, slow as hell, but after a couple of reboots everything settled down...
So I came from CHT, installed TW, didn't wipe, and everything works pretty well...
I've just applied the .66 update using the OTA option (package size about 45 MB). Need a couple of hours to see if they fixed the GPS issue. In the meanwhile, here's the change log: Bug fix 1.Fix alarm clock failing to go off when Ultra Saving mode is turned on 2.Fix touch key backlight duration settings not working before rebooting 3.Improve GPS performance 4.Fix abnormal behavior in detecting USB DAC in pad mode
New Feature 1.Add PadFone Station Assistant widget 2.Add ZenTalk
