Since PadFone Infinity has (finally!) been updated to KitKat, I think it's now time to give it some custom roms.
Today, it's not only one rom that is announced... not two roms... but FOUR of them!
To be honest, there's not much difference between roms except what is removed in them, but I think not everyone wants a fully bloated rom, nor everyone want a rom that has too much removed features. So there will also be in-between roms.
This one is the most complete of all roms. Due to having nothing removed, you'll be able to enjoy the same experience as stock Asus, but with root and deodex.
This rom has some bloatware removed, such as Polaris Office or Garmin. Use it if you want a complete experience that won't be wasted by little apps you don't use.
Nope, this rom doesn't have the Play Store removed. It only have the apps that you can find on Play Store removed! Use this if you want to have a complete Asus experience but want to choose which Google parts to enable. It also eliminates double apps such as Google Play Music (as there is already Asus Music).
This rom is the most light in the pack. It removes all of the app the other roms remove, but also some apps I found useless (i.e. I won't ever use). This rom is the rom I use as a daily driver, because I like to have only what I will really use. It really has a lot of apps removed.
You mean the folders and content of your previous installations? Might be because you didn't do the "Mounts and storage > format /data and /data/media (/sdcard)" step.
Your current folders in CWM should be in the folder /sdcard/0. When you click "Choose zip from /sdcard" just go to the folder 0 and it should be there.
For CWM installation i manage to reboot PFI in FASTBOOT but can't install CWM. I can read "waiting for device" in CMD screen but nothing happen. I'm rooted but it seems that there is no communication between PFI and computer...
And install it to your phone. Launch the app and click the button to unlock the bootloader.
Remember to make a backup of your internal memory contents: if I remember correctly (I did this a long time ago) unlocking the bootloader erases everything.
It has adb and fastboot, as well as two .bat files to reboot to bootloader when you're in the system (the first one) and one to flash recovery and reboot to it (the second one).
