No i haven't contact asus aboute this..

Aniway.. I have read aboute your problem, wich i suprisely never had. I think it is not conected to mine, becouse it cme with this update.

I have strange fealing aboute this update... When the update finished, it wrote that i must re-dock the padfone. When i undock the padfone it has once again wrote if i would like to instal the padfone station update, but i can't close it. So i force close it an dock the padfone. Till then the station is not responding.. :$

So as to me, when I ran this update it asked me to redock the padfone so I did. After that the creen stayed black and vibrated six times and was still black. When I took the padfone out it said that padfone station is not responding, please try again. So i did. Next time I redocked the phone it was fine, but 3 button press issue reached me so now we are in one boat

Oh, BTW, did anyone notice how bad was English of the person who posted the update on the official site?

AsusScalerFirmwareUpdate_0x26.apk
improve the display quality for PadFone Station
*Reminder *
1. when use this apk file, do not remover Padfone form Pad station, it will be make pad station damage.
2. Please update to V9.20..1.x or later version.

That's a bit disappointing cuz' that's not a kind of forum, but official page it's the same if I would put in a place of a receptionist of my company (If I'd had one:)) a monkey...

The other files seem to have more or less adequate description...

May be that was a sign not to install this update, what do you think?

I get my station back today. They fixed it in one day. I think, they have just overload the firmware.

The difference is that now when i turn on update apk, it writes that my current version is 29, before that my current version was 35.

Now i'm afraid to run the update

You could try flashing full firmware package version 9.18.8.41, it brings a Padfone Station firmware version update (probably to the 35, because that was also my previous version)...

Tell them I will forgive them if they release a 4.2 update including a new Station FW in the next month.

Today i said "go to hell", and run the update again.

The only thing i did different is that i have not close the app, but redock the phone. I do it twice, because the first time station was not responding.

Now i have to say, that the station is waaay more responsive and works really good.

If someone wants to risk and do the update, here are the instructions:

Instal the app.
Run the app...
Run the update
Than wait! Wait and do nothing till there is a message to redock the padfone. Press ok an wait for 5 sec more.
Then remove padfone from station and dont tuch it!
Put the padfone back to statioion. Probably it wont responde, neither it wont responde after three time power button pressed. Dont worry...
Remove the padfone again and put it back to station. Press the three times
power button and it must works!

If still not working, than the service is probably your next destination.
