I just got my padfone 2 yesterday. Everything was working fine. I did not charge it in time and it got fully drained and shut off. I have been charging it for a couple hours and it will not turn on.
When I plug in the station (without the phone) it shows the charge icon for a second. When I plug the phone in I do not get any signs of life.
Just needed more time....was not charging from mains power.
Unfortunately the station fell out of my bag and the screen cracked....Ahhhh! Rough day. Anyone know if the screen can be replaced? If so, any guess what you think that would cost? _
If the cost is higher than the product replacement, I a willing to buy the 13-pin ports of your broken station, in order to make a prototype of keyboard for padfone 2 station (with batteries, SD ports, ...).
Got the same problem a few days I got it. But tried to open the back (which should not be done on a regular basis as it's even sealed with double-sided tape with a note on the battery not to remove). Anyway, got my phone to power up (with 95% no less) by plugging it in to the charger and adjusting the battery cable.
I think the problem arises coz the cable (instead of the normal contact points on most phones) is quite loose. Anyone with the same problem should give it a try, and I hope this helps those out there..
I have your problem At first I plug it to standard charger and it was 99% sharged But after some hours (2 or 3 ) my padfone dead Now I have bigger problem!!! I plug in sharge at night, when I woke up at morning I found it dead and now it can't turn on!! What I can do now!!??
