I think the big question would be whether it comes with full Windows 8 or only Windows 8 RT - personally, I'd need a full version of Windows to use it as a replacement for a laptop, but I appreciate that the target market is the student/executive crowd rather than middle-aged sysadmins.
I'd definitely be interested in seeing what they set the price at, as I've been thinking about getting a Surface-style tablet since I first saw them in operation and if this is an affordable-enough offering, well, I might just treat myself to another toy . It'd definitely have to be cheaper than Microsoft's Surface Pro though.
Looking nice but I agree that a full Windows 8 would be a must for me. If I read about the RT version and see what people say about it it has a lot of limitations.

It should come with both RT and full win8 version. see
I think you guys are mixing this Transformer Book with the VivoTabs...
I'm talking about the TX300, it's a full 13 inch Windows 8 (NO RT) transformer laptop with a core i5 3317U (€1299,-) or core i7 3517U (€1499,-) 64-bit (so NO ARM or x86 atum) processor...
I would feel more for the i5 version, since it's cheaper... and pretty much the only difference is the clockspeed of the procerssors...
It's not as a replacement for my Padfone, but for my current HP ProBook 4510s...
