Since I got my first Transformer about a year ago there were still 3 Android-related "flaws" that prevented me from completely abandoning my Win7 notebook: 1) No network port. 2) No printer support. 3) No app would support formulas in word documents.
I solved the first one by buying a USB-to-RJ45 adapter and the second one by buying PrinterShare. And a few minutes ago OfficeSuite Pro released an update for their app which is now able to view (and only view) formulas in word documents. Yay! As far as I know it is the first ever android app to support this and only one of a handful of programs at all to support this.
I thought I might not be the only one with this problem and thought I might let you guys know.
I suppose there must be a reason for it somewhere (I know there're some people who use Word for everything), but why oh why would anyone want to embed formulas into a Word document?
In my mind it defies logic - but then I refuse to use Word for anything, so I may not be the right person to pass comment.
Irrespective of that though, the last time I tried OfficeSuite Pro (about two years ago), I wasn't particularly impressed with it, so opted for QuickOffice instead. Now that Asus have included Polaris Office with the PadFone 2, I've got both installed as each has its strong points.
On the subject of Android office suites, this thread on XDA has a thorough comparison of eight office suites, worth having a good look at before deciding on which suite is most suitable for your needs.
And if all else fails, you can always use the full Desktop server with full MS Office suites to edit documents on Asus Webstorage. That said, you need internet connection and in my experience, servers can be a bit busy at times.

I´ve been using Word for "everything" since I started going to college and I don´t see any reason not to use it.

Yeah, well...for me it was the other way round.

I havn´t found any strong point in Polaris as of now. As a matter of fact it is usually one of the first apps I used to uninstall/deactivate on a new phone/ROM.

Woah, that thread is still being updated? I remember when I first saw that maybe two phones ago and I am glad to see it´s still expanding.

Lucky you, if you have a strong internet connection. Unfortunately, I don´t.
Worth mentioning: If you are really into this online office suite stuff, I somehow doubt that the one from Asus is the fastest/best. Tried a few others some time ago and most of them were faster but didn´t work properly all the time. Anyone know if they fixed those issues?
