The brightness is a big let down for me.
I only use my PF2 on full brightness (With outdoor mode on) as I use my phone outside often. The brightness of the PF2 is its biggest selling point for me, it made my Note II's screen look dim in comparison.
I was hoping to get the same brightness in the Infinity.

Accordign to the Asus specs, it does have 800/1800/2100/2600MHz bands for LTE, so they added 2100... If that band is supported in your region, you can use it...

Man this stuff reads like stereo instructions! So if that is the case then it should work on AT&T, MetroPCS, T-Mobile and Verizon. I'm willing to bet it won't though. Is it even on sale yet?

I'm a PF1 user, and I'm pretty interested to get this infinity. Since it's pretty close to PF2, aybody upgrading from PF1 to PF2 feels it's worthed? I mean about the specs bump like processor, display, battery, etc. I'm about to get a keyboard dock for PF1 when infinity came out, so I'm holding off to buy a keyboard until infinity come out. If there's a lot of PF2 user who upgrades from PF1 doesn't really feel it as a worthy upgrade, I might as well bought they keyboard and wait for the next padfone

i think for most of the PF2 users, there is no point upgrading - PF2 is only about 3mth old, and other than the resolution bump-up, there is no other obvious benefits.

but for PF1 user, i think you really should consider. the 4.2.2 itself is worth thinking - which will never make to PF1; plus the rest of the spec...

My view anyway.

A number of us are hanging closely to padfone 1 simply because of the keyboard. but I do agree with you, it's a bit disappointing that 4.2 may not make it onboard our phones, especially when the specs is capable of rendering it anyway

So there you go, NT 20.990 for 32gb, NT 22.990 for 64gb, NT 7000 for the pad station. not that expensive according to me since on ebay padfone 2 64gb is still roughly almost $1000, which converts pretty much the same in my currency

When do you think the Padfone Infinity will be available on eBay ? And will the price be the same as in Taiwan ?
I can't wait... I hope it won't be difficult to import.

but with an upped price usually, since they rule the padfone monopoly on ebay. funnybom indeed. but as I recall there's some other seller in PF1 era

For now, I'm really curious about what the champagne gold gonna looks like
I hope it's pretty cool, I prefer colors that not had by most of majority, but definitely wouldnt buy the pink one

I was wonder, if a friend in Taiwan buy me a Padfone Infinity, will it be compatible with Networks in France ? The only thing I will have to change is the AC adapter, right ?

You can get wall converters for 1 euro pretty much everywhere... Frequencies of the device are fine for France...
