Just receive the update for CHT. This is the 2nd 4.1.1 update that we have for PF1 so far,and asus certainly picked the right date 13313!!! 10.2.1.9-0 now

Changelogs:

1. Upgrade to Android 4.1.1
2. Fixed instant dictionary.
3. Fixed camera preview function
4. Fixed clipboard function
5. Fixed Explorer software
6. Fixed volume keys issues
7. SD card now supports NTFS & EX Fat

Changes noticed:

1. Extra NFC toggle removed
2. Mount micro-SD card notifications can no longer be removed on notification bar
3. mouse cursor is larger now
4. 2 users reported Notification panel settings in Asus Customised Setting crashes

... and it crashed once

Will keep you guys posted on changes.

Upgrading in progress, hope the cracking sound when calling is gone. If not it has to be hardware issue

Message was editted at 12:19PM:

Whe trying to customize Asus Quick Settings, I get an error: Unfortunally Settings has stopped.... Maybe just a reboot

Edit:, no, still error when trying to change quick settings

Yeah, that's weird if we didnt have that problem back then but now it appears. please tell us how it goes after you do a factory reset phoxy84. coz I'm actually fine with this JB and the new JB doesnt seem much upgrade than now. how bout those with issues for the 1st batch of JB? is it solved? what kind of issues you got anyway with the 1st JB?

edit: btw for all of you guys who did an upgrade, is it straight from the 1st JB or from 9.20? I'm already on 1st JB, can I downgrade? as I remember, downgrading needs full reset and a full ROM, and i see on ASUS webite there's a full ROm there, can I just download it and do a fresh install to JB rightaway or I still need to go back to ICS 1st?

We've already updated our firmwares page: http://padfoneclub.com/pl/content/content.php?content.15

Make sure to grab the right one, because I've added two different upgrade packages to the new JB update... one is from ICS to JB, and the other is from JB to JB...

True, but I wanted to find out if the sound issue is gone, not. Guess a hardware issue.

BTW, you CAN root with Debugfs automated root [09/18/2012], just did it, went without a problem

Please do remember to turn off any radio before applying an update. Maybe you can try flashing it again with wifi turned off?
