I once had Q1U from when UMPCs were produced and one of the accessories I still use is the slim usb keyboard that was meant to go into the portfolio case for these units. I used it in my "PC reparing kit" then for my galaxy tab 7.7 Now I customised it a bit removing the leather craddle, plug it into the USB OTG adapter and it works great. 1/ the trackpoint makes it so I can control the cursor without lifting hands from the keys like I would need to control a mouse, no fingerprints on the screen 2/ no bluetooth connection means less power consumption 3/ the sleeve, once the leather cradle removed, can handle the entire system. Can add a layer between screen and glass to wrap it all, or just use the flap.
I have not been able to find a keyboard skinnier than this thing with the added bonus of a built-in pointer. The model number is Samsung AA-SK0TKBD/US
I see some QWERTY models (AA-SK0TKBD/UK) in ebay right now but I don't know if they have the sleeve.
There too, using USB OTG with the wireless dongle, everything works great. All functions work, home, volume, etc...
+ Trackball on the right + scroll wheel + clic on the left
not very convenient because it doesn't hold the station, but a cheap self made stand or the official asus cover may do the job. Also you won't be able to remote the device on your Tv with this, because it needs the micro usb port.
Pretty much all keyboards will work I guess... But the thing that most people (including me) cry about is the extra battery, usb ports and full sized SD card reader... And the fact that it just is one nice looking package if the padfone infinity would have it's own keyboard dock...
It is not bluetooth, but can it work through usb? it is wireless keyboard. I hope anyone can confirm if it is possible to use wireless keyboard with usb or only bluetooth keyboard.

it will work as long as you have the USB receiver/dongle, regardless of wire or wireless. plug and play support is enabled since android 4.0.
I have the K400 and via USB OTG it will work fine.
Regarding keyboards I'm using the Logitech Windows 8/Android Bluetooth keyboard. Works nicely, lots of hot keys, slip case for the keyboard turns into a tablet stand. Being bluetooth frees the USB port for OTG duties.
That first one is the one, although that is an earlier version (the current one specifically states it is for Windows and Android). I have that older one also and it works fine.
Currently using the Logitech K350 wave keyboard on my Padfone Infinity. Works like a charm! Anyone know if it's possible to use a USB hub with the Padfone and if I can charge my Padfone through a USB hub?

You should be able to use an OTG cable (micro-usb to full sized female usb)... I was looking for this and an usb to hdmi cable yesterday, but I couldn't find one in stores so I can't confirm for you :S
But charging through OTG most likely not possible...
Does it automatically switch on the phone in tablet mode or i need asus's own OTG?
I tried with third party OTG cable with keyboard, it does not wake up the tablet. I can only use the keyboard/mouse after i manually hit the power button .. annoying.
