Just to share my unpleasant experience with my first ever and last Asus product. When padfone first launched, i was amazed by the concept and idea of how a phone and tablet incorporated. Thinking that I can save the hassle of transferring common data between phone and tablet when i need to do an on-site presentation (I'm a property agent btw). So when the padfone infinity launched, i bite the bullet and bought it to try as thinking to retire my iphone 4s after 2 years of usage and getting very excited to own this gadget...
Less than a week of ownership, the ear set started to give problem, i can't hear anything from it. Went to service centre and took a week to get it replaced. I was expecting for a 1-1 exchange since it is last than a week old, but fat hope. After that, a new problem with Bluetooth pairing with my headset, thought headset having problem, so change a new headset, problem persist, Bluetooth connection always cut off by itself, as if the phone has gone into sleep mode and cut off the connectivity. Out of a sudden, it got fixed. Also not sure why the volume on the headset is extremely soft when you had maximise both the volume on the phone and headset. But have no such issue when i connect the same headset to my iphone. This is a big big disappointment as i need to hook onto the Bluetooth headset when driving most of the time...
Had adapted to the all the rubbish condition that the phone had given, after 11mths of usage now, the pad is giving problem. blinking orange led when the fone is slotted in. no matter what, it just doesn't transfer the fone screen to the pad... i guess i had enough with this disappointed piece of gadget...
