The first time you press the power button, the touch panel works, try to unlock it and open apps, only problem is that the screen is still black (no backlight)...
This is a great way to see hwo the "explore by touch" accessability feature works for blind people
Or they wanted to implement some Elvis: (press) one for the money, Two for the show, Three to get ready, Now go, go, go, go, go
Wait until they release the Asus Padfone Elvis Edition next week. Basically the same as the PF1 but with a bug. And we got it for free. That´s how generous Asus treats their customers.
As for the changes: It might only be my imagination but after watching some HD movies after the FW it feels like there is an increase in "depth" of the display...at the price of lower brightness it seems.
I am not sure if I am right or if it´s just all the coffees I got today. But could someone else who flashed himself the "Elvis Edition" check the following: If you have a stable WiFi connection, you should have that 3 times to wake problem. Now, do you still have that problem when you disable WiFi and rely on 3G only?
Because today I had 3G only most of the time and I didn´t have to push the button 3 times once! Might be just a coincidence but I tested it several times at home. WiFi on -> Had to push the button 3 times every time it goes to deep sleep. WiFi off -> No problem at all.
