At LAST!! - the Padfone 2 is getting some love from ASUS in the accessory department.. got to say it all looks fantastic and well thought out/designed. Really like the idea of the Padstation cover and stand and the car charger/mount for the phone looks good too. Not too fussed that there isn't a huge aftermarket/3rd party support for the phone yet - if the quality of the genuine/OEM products in real life is anywhere as good as the products look in the pictures!!!
Way to go ASUS - just need to get the products in the store so I can buy them now!!
Do you have any idea when they will hit the stores?
I really want the covers and the car dock. Although I think it's a little sad it's a window mount and not a proper dash mount, but hopefully I will be able to convert it
I am also interested in the car dock, but I don't want it in the window. I used to have a good place for the phone with a brodit holder. I want to mount it the same way. Probably need to drill in the Asus original car dock
Thanks for the link (BTW doesn't work ), but I have tested at least three different models/brands..... no one of them can control volume+- on PF2, just start/stop. Sent a case to ASUS, answer was: we cannot recommend any for now, as we have to test.....!!!!!

Interesting... The last time I used wired headphones on a 'phone would've been about five years ago, so I'm far from an expert. I'd imagine the trick would be in getting headphones which have an actual attenuation circuit in the control box, rather than trying to send signals back to the 'phone - but it's somewhat difficult to determine that from eBay listings
