I see this morning that both of the camera has dust!!!
It seems to not affect pictures with back camera, only with the front one.
Fortunately, i don't use it.
I wonder if it's possible to clean this?
Thanks

Have you tried using cleaning cloth for reading glasses? Maybe you can get rid of it that way?

I think the problem is that there's no internal enclosure around the SIM tray. If I peek through the ejector hole of the SIM tray when the display's on, I can see the backlight.

This is probably how the dust is getting inside.

I have the same issue with my Padfone, it seems that everyone have it.

Shame asus, for a premium product this could not happen

I wish to dismount and have a look inside because if the camera is really glued (sealed) to the back cover, seems quite difficoult dust could penetrate the phone and then arrive to the camera from inside, it could be it arrives from outside through the camera lens......, maybe.
But to ascertain need to dismount; anybody else have dismounted the back cover and can give steps in order to not to destroy the PF2?

It doesn't seem to be anywhere near as hard to open as we'd imagine it to be - http://youtu.be/nY-I2wf1xK8?t=5m20s

It's difficult to see on the video, but it looks like there's a transparent cover on the case back, over the camera lens - if this is the case, then the dust build-up should be there, between the lens and the transparent "porthole."
